Gamezone bringt neues HeroQuest raus...

Scheint auch langsam kein Gerücht mehr zu sein.

Wie es scheint, konkretisiert sich das Vorhaben. Gamezone ist offiziell an mich herangetreten, um mich als eine Art "Berater" zu konsultieren. Ich habe bereits die Itemlist gesehen und kann nur sagen, dass es sich nach einem ambitioniertem Projekt anhört. Es wird weiterhin nach Übersetzern gesucht... da dachte ich eigentlich schon dran mitzuarbeiten.

Wieviel Spiele kennen wir, die von Nicht-Spielern übersetzt werden ? (Ich erinnere mich an die Übersetzung von "Bolzenschussgewehr" für "Bolter" (40K))

Das ganze Projekt wird wohl als Crowdfunding (mit Kickstarter) an den Start gehen.

Sobald ich mehr weiss (und sagen darf) werde ich das hier tun.

-1 BOARD †“ ALFA Model

- 1 MENTOR SCREEN

The game screen is for dual use. The Mentor Side (inside) displays the tools that the Game Master will need to direct the game, creature stats, game symbol keys codes, weapon characteristics, etc.. On the Player Side (outside) there will be an illustration of a temple on which the essential rules for the adventures will be written into stone like reliefs. This way any novice player at a glance will have all the necessary information they need without having to badger the Director with continual basic questions.

The 25th model dice will have squares representing boxes instead of round dots. The 25th model battle dice will have the already known symbols but appear more consistent with the actual skills or the characters / current technology available.

Rule book, highly illustrated, to explain every rule that needs it with a corresponding clarifying image.

- ADVENTURE VOLUME I †œNo Threat Unanswered†

In this Book you will find the missions that Mentor will entrust to the adventurers. Formatted as standard stand alone adventures or missions that will continue as if chapters in a series. Others will be set up in an independent campaign structure that will evolve in parallel within a common storyline. The total overall quantity of adventures will be around 50.

The Adventurer Cards will have the values ??and the different characteristics between the male characters and their female counterparts. Life and mind/will points are shown in wheel-cut windows in which the corresponding number is displayed and can be changed by rotating disks, added to the rear or the cards. This way you will not be writing the values ??of each character on a separate sheet, you can modify them directly in the windows that each character card offers.

The figures will have the standard Gamezone® miniature size of 28mm/30mm. This way is a sure way that they will also be compatible with other popular miniature games.

Plastic Resin is a high quality material with and extraordinarily high degree of detail, making for a clear and clean finished product. The presence of bubbles, common in all resins to a larger or smaller effect, has been practically eliminated through the modeling process. The final weight of the miniatures is lighter.

The bases are round and transparent; being round helps with easier figure movement across the board and the transparency of the base allows players to effectively see the floor of the map their characters are standing on. The figures will be different colors the same as the miniatures in the original box set.

These elements will also be made of resin as this allows us to create pieces with greater details. Some elements will come separate and will need a simple assembly.

- The wardrobe pieces are interchangeable making verity a real possibility in the 25th.

- The doors will be able to be open or closed as the door frame will have hinges.

- The treasure chests will have open able lids to see what is inside. The interior will be empty and ready to have a treasure inserted in the form of a token that will represent a bag of coins, a pile of coins, or an empty bottom with a singular coin. The interior chest tokens are also interchangeable with other elements .

- The gargoyle pedestal has a space for a treasure token when the figure is removed

- The Cell door can open or close depending on the mission guidelines

- The sarcophagus also has an area to add treasure tokens if you wish to show different contents

1. Der Jäger ist eine Jägerin... ein weibliches Modell, wohl als Pendant zum Barbaren

2. Es wird keine Fimire geben, da GW das Patent auf Fimire in Spanien hat...kann ich nicht weiter erklären

3. Der Schrecken aus der Tiefe wird Tentakelmonster heissen

4. Die 8 falschen Schätze sind Unsinn.. es handelt sich um Schatz-Inserts, die in die Truhen eingesetzt werden.

Was hat das HQ von MB/GW damals gekostet? 70Mark, oder? Da finde ich 65€ 25 Jahre spaeter mit mehr Inhalt in der Box eigentlich ganz fair.

Allerdings bin ich auch so ein Heroquest-Fan, dass ich das Ding wohl eh kaufen werde. Freue mich schon drauf.

Nun muessen da nur die Minis schoen werden, aber bei Gamezone habe ich da eigentlich kaum Bedenken, die werden das schon hinkriegen.

Hätte ich nicht das erste Heroquest mit allen Erweiterungen, könnte ich auch schwach werden. Werden die Regeln denn auch überarbeitet? Konnte das jetzt so nicht rauslesen.

Eigentlich bin ich ja begeistert. Doch manches sieht gar nicht so rosig aus, finde ich. Allein schon, dass es keine Fimire geben soll, ist ne mittelschwere Katastrophe in meinen Augen. Und hoffe, das wird ordentlicher geschrieben sein als dieser Infotext hier...

So oder so steht und fällt das mit den Figuren.

Artwork sieht schonmal sehr hochwertig aus. Wobei ich mir nicht sicher bin, ob ich mich wirklich mit dem Stil der Helden arrangieren kann. Das klassische Heroquestgefühl scheint ziemlich auf der Strecke geblieben zu sein. Und hoffentlich unterscheiden sich die weiblichen und männlichen Charaktere auch spielerisch etwas und nicht nur im Geschlecht. Bin gespannt, wie es sich mit den 15 weiteren Charakteren verhält - werden doch wohl nicht bloß die Söldner sein?

Bedenkt man den Inhalt (46 Minis, 48 Möbel/Türen aus Resin o. ä. sowie 35 Spielmarker (auch aus Resin)) finde ich das € 69.- eigentlich ok sind.

Ich auch, da gibts so manche Kickstarter, die wesentlich weniger liefern und noch teurer sind.

Ich finde AvP da völlig OK, da steckt leider auch ne Kackteure Lizenz hinter und der Produzent bietet mit dem 3 Spieler gegeneinander oder sogar gegen das Spiel ein wesentlich komplexeres Ding an als - das zugegeben auch von mir geliebte - HeroQuest.

Wobei ich mich ja über Warhammer Quest tatsächlich mehr gefreut hätte, was ist eigentlich aus BloodBowl/WarhammerQuest als geheimes Release für den Oktober geworden?

There will be a miniatures only and furniture only pledge level

There will be KS exclusive content.

Hero Cards will have wheels so you can track wounds.

No old expansions will be remade but the game will get new expansions post KS.

Retail release aiming for December 2014 MSRP $100 for base game.

Every element of the game will be available to buy separately direct from Gamezone miniatures once it hits retail.

The sculpts are a mix of hand sculpts and 3D renders below is a sample of one of the Orcs (all sculpts will have different weapons/poses)
