Neben den restlichen Core Helizes aus Firestorm Planetfall gibt im Dezember auch Raumstationen für Firestorm Armada.

Es handelt sich dabei um die Kampfstationen, die es schon für Vorbesteller des 2.0 Regelbuches gab.

Zusätzlich wurden die Planetary Defense Groups aber um einige kleinere Raumstationen ergänzt.

Ich hatte noch keine Zeit zu überprüfen, ob die Fleet Guides entsprechend überarbeitet wurden, oder ob man die Werte

für die kleinen Verteidigungssatelliten beigefügten Statkarten zu entnehmen sind.

Also mir gefallen die neuen designs, gute arbeit. Kaufen werde ich die box allerdings nicht. Dafür hab ich schon zu viel FSA Material als, dass es sich lohnen würde. Muss man halt wieder abwarten wann es die Schiffe in welcher Form außerhalb der Sets gibt.

freu mich trotzdem auf die Box

Danke für das Bild! Ich finde die Bemalung eigentlich ziemlich schick, wenn auch beim Directorate vielleicht etwas "farblos" (auf den ersten Blick könnte man glauben, die Modelle wären nur schwarz grundiert und weiß genebelt worden). Ich freue mich, dass das Acrylteil des Portals (?) ein Design besitzt und nicht einfach nur einfarbig durchsichtig ist. Auch ist das das erste Modell, bei dem is gut aussieht, wenn es direkt auf der Platte steht (im Gegensatz zu den Battle Stations). Auf diese Weise ist es auf genau der richtigen Höhe für die anderen Modellen zum Durchfliegen. Ich werde mir die Box auf jeden Fall zulegen (sammle auch schon beide Völker).

Hast du mal ausprobiert die Battlestations auf Bases zu kleben?

Ich hab noch keine und es dauert noch, bis ich mir welche anschaffe, aber vielleicht gibt es da schon Erfahrungen?

Die Walhalla Station sieht auch ganz nett aus, wenn sie auf dem Feld so herumsteht.

 

Return of the Overseers

Werde mir die Box auf jeden Fall anschaffen, auch wenn ich das Design der R&D Cruiser beim Directorate und die neuen Aquan Kreuzer mehr als fragwürdig finde.

Die Overseer Modelle und die des Directorates werde ich selbst bemalen.

Bei den Aquan geht meine Tabletopkasse nächsten Monat für Profibemalung vom Phantasos Studio drauf.

Ich besitze ja bereits eine Aquan-Flotte aus weitesgehend alten Modellen, finde die neuen aber auch sehr schön. Sie dürfen in meiner Sammlung auf keinen Fall fehlen und da sie auch noch mein Lieblingsvolk sind, sollen sie wie folgt aussehen:

ich hab was anderes probiert,

 

hab die Battlestations, die ich hab, mal angebohrt und auf die vorhandenen Bases gesteckt.

des schaut um einiges besser aus als wenn sie nur so auf der Platte rumstehen,

besonders bei den Geschützen die den Stationen beiliegen, die gehören unbedingt angebohrt, des schaut ja grauslig aus, wennst die auf die Platte stellst

Return of the Overseers - The first Clash

 

Auf Mann's Model Moments findet ihr einen ersten Spielbericht zu Return of the Overseers.

Der Aquan Admiral der vergisst die Bomber seines Heavy Carrier Flaggschiffs einzusetzen gehört standesrechtlich erschossen!

Aus der Nähe betrachtet muss ich sagen gefallen mir die Directorate Schiffe noch einmal besser als auf den ersten Bildern.

Vor allem das Hex-Muster erscheint mir interessant, ob ich das auch mal irgendwo ausprobiere?

mal schauen wann wir unsere oversser boxen erhalten, ich kanns kaum erwarten und will die endlich vor die Kamera (unboxing) und dann auf meinen maltisch bekommen damit wir auch wieder batreps filmen können.

Die Orshan Frigatten sind ja cool. Schnecken im Weltall!

Auf die Oroshan habe ich wirklich lange gewartet ...

ich mag das leicht cardassianische Design und hätte mir diese Flotte gerne als erstes zugelegt, aber erst musste man fast nen Jahr auf die Regeln warten.

Dann erspähte ich in den ORBATS den Battlecarrier und die Option 2 davon in einer Battlefleet zu spielen, BAMM.

 

Und jetzt kann es bald losgehen. Man, was freu ich mich auf den März.

mal sehen wie weit ich mitte feb mit der overseer box bin, wenn ich dann schon nachschub brauche könnte ich mir die oroshan schon vorstellen

allerdings dachte ich mehr an beide boxen + extra Fregattenund vielleicht noch mal zwei kreuzer.

Spartan startet eine Kampagne:

 

 

The year 3724 was a hard one for the Alliance of Kurak, with the Dindrenzi making key spearhead attacks into the Storm Zone, with significant gains. Whilst the Terran Alliance is just about holding its own through sheer weight of numbers, its Allies have also had their own difficulties.

 

Whilst the Aquan Sebrutan have accelerated the pace of their war machine, and are able to defeat incursions by the Directorate -  new ships are not available everywhere, and the Directorate guerrilla tactic style strikes are more numerous than the Aquans can deal with, especially being made from Dindrenzi-held space where pursuit and counter-attacks are near impossible. In the galactic south, the Relthoza swarming urge, aided by the seemingly random attacks of the Ba†™kash, is overwhelming the stalwart but stolid response of the Sorylian naval forces. In 3725, the Zenian League is determined to press home this advantage.

 

This is your chance as part of the Firestorm Armada community to make the difference! Over the course of the year we will be releasing campaign areas for you to fight your friends over, report the results to us and actually affect the direction of the conflict! These campaigns will typically run for around 6-8 weeks, the first of which will start in the coming weeks.

 

To qualify, play one of the 6 standard scenario games (at any points level) with valid Zenian vs Kurak fleets (detailed in the individual campaign sets), and produce a battle report for your game - including fleet lists, pictures, written narrative and final Battlelog scores. Send this report to alex@spartangames.co.uk. After the campaign finishes, the final overall results of the conflict will be published in a Blog, together with highlights from the best battle reports.

 

I said it was going to be an exciting year for Spartan, and for Firestorm that continues throughout - so charge your fold-space drives, energise weapon grids and prepare for the Spring Offensive!
