Batman Miniature Game is a skirmish game based on the broad Batman universe. You can command one of the most famous criminal bands in Gotham City to expand your territory and control the underworld, or stop their evil plans with the Dark Knight and his allies.

Batman Miniature Game is a skirmish turn-based miniature game.

The first thing is band creation, you will love this part because there will be a lot of possibilities.

Batman universe has a very rich and detailed background, with over 65 years of comic-books, tv shows, movies, etc.

The idea is that there will be bosse like the Joker, Penguin, Two-Face .... and they can fight each other as well. On the other hand many characters of the Batman Universe are not so important to form their own band, these are called "free agents" and will ally to one side or the other according to that point of the story and their background. Each boss can have sidekicks and lackeys, or be replaced by one of them, these sidekicks will modify the way you play with that band.

Each character will have a Reputation value (is the equivalent to what other games call "cost" or "points"). Also some characters will cost USD because they have some special rules or expensive equipment. Dollars will be used to buy additional equipment for your lackeys as well.

Turn will be divided in several phases, first Plan Preparation. The Motivation score will determine the number of actions each character can take each turn, in this phase you will distribute this tokens forming your plan. The plan is open so the opponent can see where you place your tokens, making a very tactical and deep game.

Then comes the activation phase of the miniature, eachn player take turns activating the habilities of the characters following the previous plan, p.e. Batman can use the Batclaw or throw a Batarang, Bane can use a Titan dosis, a Clown his Insane Laughter... as we release figures you will discover the potential of each character and their rules. Each character will be special and charismatic so the player can feel the resemblace to comics, video games and movies of this wonderful world.

After activation phase the turn is over and any effect or recovery of the characters is resolved (yes!, characters can recover from KO or heal injuries).

There will be scenarios (we want it to be an spectacular game!), but I prefer to tell no more, we want you to discover many surprises when the game is available.

Also ich muss sagen ich bin sehr gespannt. Der Stil orientiert sich sehr an den beiden Arkham-Computerspielen, was mir gut gefällt.

Nicht wirklich. Die einzige 28mm Mini, die sie vorher rausgebracht haben (Batman) kostet 15 Euro. Das ist schon happig, aber ich denke mal wenn man 20 Minis fuer das Spiel hat ist man schon mehr als gut bedient.

Kommt halt auch auf die Quali an, ne?

Abgesehen davon wird für die Obermacker - und die namhaften allemal - doch eigentlich immer deutlich mehr Asche als für das Croppzeug verlangt. Obendrein würde mich eher wundern, wenn man üblicherweise über 8 Unterlinge pro Boss aufstellte.

Mit sämtlichen Modellen einer Seite in ein neues System eizusteigen, klingt für mich auch etwas abwegig...

Batman an und für sich ist ja quasi schon eine vollständige Fraktion, soweit ich das heraus lesen konnte. Man spielt ihn alleine ohne Handlanger o.ä.

Er ist nun mal der goddamn Batman.

Ich denke mal Batman wird man halt nur mit Leuten wie Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl usw. zusammen spielen. Aber genau das ist ja der Reiz: Ein Held, derisch durch eine handvoll Goons prügelt und dann deren Boss aufmischt

Denn ich muss sagen, sie haben fantastische Marvelfiguren (70mm)!

Letztlich findet sich da doch verblüffend viel konkrete Info (z.B. 5 bis 12 Modelle pro Seite) - daher hier doch noch die einzige Quelle, welche ich gerade dazu gefunden habe:

Da für mich als großen Fan des vom 50er-Art Deco beeinflussten visuellen Stils der 90er-Zeichentrickserie der gute Croc vollkommen verhunzt ist, hoffe ich noch sehr auf schicke Versionen für Freeze (das AW ist mMn sehr spannend) und Clayface (bitte, bitte wie in besagter Serie! *fingerkreuz und augenzukneif*)!

Bzw. (ich hab da keine Erfahrung) ist Resin widerstandsfähig (also ob es sich abnutzt)?

Gute Frage. Auf der HP wird von beidem gesprochen, ich würde aber aus dem Bauch raus bei den 28mm Sachen auf Metall tippen (Ansonsten wären 15 Euro schon ne Ansage).

Resin hat den Vorteil, dass es flexibler ist, dazu in der Regel billiger und leichter. Abnutzung dürfte kaum auftreten.

Man kann generell davon ausgehen, dass große Modelle in der Regel eher aus Resin und kleine Modelle eher aus Metall hergestellt werden

Wenn du sowas wie oben schreibst, darfst du dich nicht wundern, später sowas wie unten schreiben zu müssen.

Ich gebe dir Recht, dass 28mm häufiger aus Metall ist, größeres aus Resin. Aber GW und FW zeigen doch beide, dass es auch anderes herum geht. Und auch KM kann offenbar beides. Von Zitaten über die Materialwahl für große Collectibles-Figuren auf die für 28mm Skirmish-Figuren zu schließen, halte ich für schwierig (gerade, wenn sie schreiben, auch für große Figuren Metall zu nehmen. Offensichtlich folgt KM der Logik "groß-Resin, klein-Metall" nicht). Das einzige, was man momentan wohl sagen kann, ist, dass Plastik fast ausgeschlossen ist.

Nicht harsch, ich wollte nur helfen. Aber wie ich das sehe, bezieht sich auch das erste Zitat auf 1/27, oder was meinst du mit "erste Aussage"?

Übrigens gefällt mir die deutsche Übersetzung der Seite ausgesprochen gut. Nicht 1:1 mit dem Englisch identisch (spanisch kann ich schlecht einschätzen), aber das hat kein Laie gemacht.
