Hintergrundtechnisch - also wenn man von Zentauren ausgeht - wäre es schon richtig, wenn die Centigors die Option auf Bögen bekämen. Überall in der Fantasy gelten Zentauren als exzellente Bogenschützen. Dagegen spricht natürlich die Grundregel: Chaos schließt nicht.

Naja, schaun mer mal (dann sehn mer ja...)

Was mir an den Centigors gar nicht gefällt, ist, daß sie PFOTEN haben. Was der Designer sich dabei gedacht hat, ist mir ein Rätsel. Wo alle Tiermenschen sonst Hufe haben... wird 'ne Sch***- Umbauarbeit *argh*

Die Oger finde ich auch nicht so besonders gelungen (gut, daß ich eigene hab...!), die Trolle gefallen mir dagegen ganz gut (soweit einem Trolle an sich überhaupt gefallen können )

@SION: Wenn es Pestigors (Nurgle), Kohrnegors (Khorne^^) und Tzeenthgors(schreibt man das so?) gibt, dan ngibt es auch Slanngors, denke ich mal...

Also, hier mal ein paar infos aus dem Portent-Forum:

I got a chance to read through the book and got nice info for all ya. If all this is elsewhere, don't hit me I'm new here!

*The centigors have this drunken rule where at the start of the turn, roll and on a 1 they test for stupidity and on a 6 they get frenzy! They get an extra attack kinda like the saurus warriors. They also always count as Spec. choices. No all centigor armies

*The mob rule kinda is the same. +2 max rank bonus, the major change is that to charge 25% of the unit must be in charge range in order to charge. I understand the point of this is to stop huge mobs speading all over the place charging whereever they feel like cause 1 model is in range but 25% with a big unit might be kinda tough. "Nope you can't charge you only have 20% within 10"! But, I charge you with only have 1 guy in 8!" Maybe it won't be so bad in game but just reading it kinda scared me.

*The shaggoth and minotaur lord mark of Tz is only a level 2 not 4! You may stop sweating now..

*Yes having a Doombull lets you take minotaurs as core.

*No pics of Slaangor or Tzaangor yet some nice new characters but everything else is from the preview pics mainly.

*Bestigors are no longer 0-1 but now 1 per beastmen herd.

*The book comes out in Sept. at least in the States. Damn!

Aber, soll das heissen, das man, wenn man einen Minotaurenlord als genarl hat, dann sind Minotauren Kern????? Core heisst doch Kern, oder?

EDIT: Hier noch mehr Infos:

Gorthor the Beastlord and Krazrak are back with one new guy some master of skulls. He's a beastmen shaman I think all that I really remember is that if you take him you get No (that's right no) general! Apparently he goes around causing all sorts of problems that would make orks envious. I don't really remember much else about the special characters. Oh wait if Krazrak is your general all of your units that have the option of ambushing can. I just remembered they limited the amount of ambushing units to half that you have available. Not much else comes to mind. Oh, there's no RedMaw.

Ungors und Gors: Oh, wait they can have spears and shields, hand weapons and shields, and/or throwing axes.

They get ranks mv 7 or 8 I don't remember. Herds for the Gors/Ungors still mixed. Don't think the points changed though.

Minos: standard back, but no musician. Can have marks. Nurgle give them scaly skin (since already make fear). Bloodfrenzy rule (they pursuit 3d6 but can't overrrun) They still have M6.

Giants: can take a mutation that give them scaly skin and a new rule. They still have two table of special attacks :-(

Shaggoths: Rare and special. OR Rare and Lord. If he's taken this way, you can give him marks. Costs increase, stats decrease, no more heavy armor and shield. Slaanesh mark as a daemon character. Can't be taken in a daemon army. I didn't read if count as mortal character or beast one (probably the latter)

Mark of nurgle for Shaggots add them one wound (for a total of seven).

Magic Items: From what I can recall there are a bunch of "Beastmen Only" items and some non. The Staff of Darkoth got changed to cast a spell called Wild Call. 9+ and one beast unit can make a 12" move I think towards an enemy. I forgot the range but I want to say 12" or 18". This is all from memory so little details might be wrong but that's the jist of it.

Trotzdem lohnen sich zu viele Minotauren nicht; zu teuer (nicht nur an Euro).

mir fällt auf, dass die slaanesh-kavallerie auf rundbases steht? zufall? oder meint ihr, dass hat regeltechnische auswirkungen?!?

Ich würde sagen, dass die Dämonetten einfach die 40k version sind (gleiche Figur, einfach ein Rundes base). Denn bis jetzt gab es ihm 40k und im Fantasy immer die gleichen dämonen...oder täusche ich mich

Und noch ganz kurz, ein paar neue news:

Also I forgot to say that there was the mini of two beastmen heroes, the bestigors command group and two blister with khorngors and pestigors, and they were pretty good.

To say it clearly, a shaggoth with the mark of slaneesh always attack first

The new magic items are interchangeable with mortals (with some exception). I didn't notice nothing incredible, just some interessing items.

In the "painting your army" section there are only picture of bestigors, khorngors and pestigors.

Just a though, if you don't need the LD of a mortal lord of chaos, you can have a banebeast of tzeench for less than a level 4 chaos sorceror. And the choice for a mortal (any god) or beast (tzeech) army is still yours.

Also, mich freuts, das ich mit dem BoC-Buch neue Magische gegenstände für mein Chaosgeneral haben kann

Und vielleicht baue ich mir mal eine Minotaurenarmee nur aus minotauren

Sehen alle super aus, besonders natührlich der DoL und das vieh mit 2Äxten. Ist dieses der Spezielle Char?

So, noch zu den Regeln;

Sehr vielversprechend. Ich freu mich schon! Aber noch zu den Centigors; Bedeutet das, sie haben 2A und können noch Rasserei bekommen? (wären ja dann3A!!!)

Ich finde den held, der im Vordergrund steht so goil, ist das ein Spezieller char oder ein "normaler" Charakter?

Außerdem sind die Standarten super und der Seuchenkrieger hinter dem held auch!
